Leading Teams for a Fast Growing Financial Services Provider
Aztec Group is an ambitious and fast-growing business that serves the financial services sector. In order to deliver its 5 year strategic plan, Aztec’s senior leadership recognised that teams and their leaders needed to go from being good to outstanding. This meant sharpening the focus on performance and excellence whilst retaining a collaborative, caring culture.
What we did
We created High Performing Teams, an 18-month development programme for more than 120 middle and senior managers. Combining online and live workshops, individual coaching, and leader-led team conversations, HPT equipped Aztec’s leaders with enhanced coaching skills and the confidence to lead their teams with clarity.
The impact
We tracked the change in participant’s behaviour over the whole programme, and there was an average performance rating improvement of 47.2%. This was brought to life by feedback such as “A life changing programme that has transformed the way my team and I work”. Over 60% of leaders formed new leadership habits during the programme, which one leader said“made me consider “leadership” every day – I’m more conscious of role modelling and looking for opportunities to do that with my teams”.
